ITU-T Recommendation P.1110 outlines testing methods for essential elements of call quality, including loudness rating, transfer function, idle channel noise in both the transmission and reception directions, suppression of out-of-band signals, echo attenuation, and minimum activation levels. It includes tests for factory-installed hands-free systems, commercial hands-free car kits, and both wired and wireless in-vehicle headsets.
